Reasons I Don't Care About the Race for Christmas Number 1

  • I am struggling to see the difference between one person and 800,000 internet warriors telling me what to buy.
  • "All the money goes to Sony anyway" - as everybody keeps telling me as though (1) they personally discovered this and (2) it is not an irrelevant and dull statement.
  • I don't want to buy the X Factor song and already own the Rage Against the Machine one. Do I really have to buy one or the other this Christmas?
  • Joe McElderry looks like a cuddler whilst Tom Morello would probably give better head. So I can see positives in both of them.
  • Does anybody outside of the media still actually take an interest in what is Christmas number 1?
